Mobiltech secures $2 mn investment from CJ Investment

South Korean platform giant Naver Corp. announced on Thursday that Mobiltech Co., an artificial intelligence (AI) startup backed by its corporate venturing team D2SF, has secured 3 billion won ($2.04 million) in investment from CJ Investment Inc.

In 2023, Mobiltech had raised 13 billion won in Series B funding from Korea Investment & Securities Co.

Founded in 2017, the AI-based 3D GIS startup offers high-precision mapping and virtual replicas of cities.

Mobiltech plans to use the funds to prepare for an initial public offering (IPO) on the Kosdaq market.
