미얀마 임시정부 “포스코에 가스전 사업 대금지급 중단 공식 요청”

KBS는 26일 미얀마 연방의회 대표위원회(CRPH)가 국내 기업 포스코인터내셔널에 현지 가스전 대금지급을 중단해달라 요구했다고 보도했다.

포스코인터내셔널은 연방의회 대표위원회에서 대금지급중단 요청 공문을 받았고, 미얀마 군정과의 관계를 다각적으로 검토하겠다고 밝혔다.

포스코인터내셔날은 미얀마 국영 석유가스공사와 계약을 맺고 미얀마에서 가스전 사업을 추진하고 있다.

이에 연방의회 대표위원회는 이 가스전에서 막대한 현금이 ‘미얀마 가스공사(MOGE)’를 통해 미얀마 군부에 들어간다고 주장하며 가스전 사업 참여 글로벌 에너지 기업들에게 대금지급 중단을 공식 요청했다.
