계약에 따르면 바슈롬은 PhysIOL의 FineVision(R) 3중 초점과 FineVision(R) 3중 초점 토릭(Toric) 친수성, UV, 블루 블러킹, 비구면 안구 내 렌즈의 배급을 즉시 시작하고, 시장에 따라 독점 또는 공동독점 형식으로 Ankoris(R) 토릭 렌즈도 판매할 예정이다. 바슈롬은 한정된 시장에서 PhysIOL의 친수성, UV 및 블루 차단, 비구면 단초점 안구 내 렌즈를 제공할 예정이다. 기업들은 시간에 따라 배급 관계를 확장시킬 선택권이 있다. Bausch + Lomb to Distribute PhysIOL Trifocal Diffractive and Toric Intraocular Lenses in Key Asian, European and Middle Eastern Markets

ALISO VIEJO, California and LIEGE, Belgium, May 1, 2013 /PRNewswire/ -- Bausch + Lomb, the global eye health company, and PhysIOL, an experienced manufacturer of intraocular lenses, today announced that Bausch + Lomb will begin distributing several lines of PhysIOL's hydrophilic acrylic intraocular lenses (IOLs) in select markets across Asia, Europe and the Middle East beginning this month.

As per the terms of the agreement, Bausch + Lomb will now begin to distribute PhysIOL's FineVision(R) trifocal and FineVision(R) trifocal toric hydrophilic, UV and blue-blocking, aspheric intraocular lenses, and, when available, the Ankoris(R) toric lenses on an exclusive or co-exclusive basis depending on the market. Additionally, Bausch + Lomb will distribute PhysIOL's Micro line of hydrophilic preloaded, UV and blue- blocking, aspheric monofocal intraocular lenses in limited markets. The companies have the option to expand the distribution relationship over time. PhysIOL's portfolio complements Bausch + Lomb's extensive line of hydrophobic and hydrophilic acrylic IOLs, including the enVista(R), Crystalens(R), and Akreos(R) brands of IOLs for implantation after cataract removal.
