최지만, 빅리그 데뷔 포스트시즌 첫 홈런…탬파베이 10-3 대승

탬파베이 레이스 최지만(28)이 미국 프로야구 메이저리그 포스트시즌에서 첫 홈런포를 쏘아 올리며 팀의 디비전시리즈 첫 승에 기여했다.

최지만은 8일(한국시간) 미국 플로리다주 세인트피터즈버그 트로피카나필드에서 열린 아메리칸리그 디비전시리즈(5전 3승제) 3차전 휴스턴 애스트로스와 홈 경기에 4번 타자 1루수로 선발 출전해 솔로 홈런을 터뜨렸다.

최지만의 홈런은 3-1로 앞선 3회 말에 나왔다. 최지만은 2사 볼카운트 2볼 2스트라이크에서 상대 팀 선발 잭 그레인키의 가운데 몰린 시속 142㎞ 체인지업을 걷어 올려 우측 담장을 넘겼다.

최지만이 포스트시즌에서 홈런을 친 건 2016년 메이저리그에 데뷔한 뒤 처음이다.

최지만은 4타수 1안타(1홈런) 1타점, 1볼넷, 삼진 2개를 기록했고, 탬파베이는 10-3으로 대승했다.

디비전시리즈 1, 2차전에서 패해 탈락 위기에 몰렸던 탬파베이는 아메리칸리그 챔피언십시리즈 진출 희망을 이어갔다.
